We are often asked if we are full-time clowns or just weekend clowns. We usually respond with "well what do you think?" and the answer is always, I see you must really enjoy being a clown. I have had a saying for over 30 years now, "I try to make at least one person smile and laugh each day" that way the world is a little better for just a moment. When asked, how do you become a clown?, I always answer with, "what's in your heart?" I'm a firm believer that clowning begins in the heart and then tickles it's way up through the funny bone and out into your face. But hey, I'm always being accused of no knowing when to be quiet! You do not have to vote but you must be enrolled. When I was being updated after shifting home I rang to complain that "not stated". I said that I had and I had put down clown. She laughed and apologised and when the book came out t said clown. I followed up that year by voting between gigs-in full slap and motley. The other thing I have done is this, My bank offered personalised Eft-Pos/ATM cards with a photo of anything on it. So my Eft-Pos/ATM has me as Mischief on it. I use my card as much as possible. Often gets a smile and a laugh. I have twice used it at the bank as identification-I was in slap and motley again. And as for the time I went to the doctor.........
